Metaltronica Stands with Race for the Cure 2026: A Concrete Commitment to Prevention
From May 7 to 10, Rome hosts the world’s largest event against breast cancer: Metaltronica takes part to promote health, early detection and solidarity.
Metaltronica reaffirms its social commitment by supporting Race for the Cure 2026, the flagship event of Komen Italia dedicated to prevention and the fight against breast cancer.
Four days at Circus Maximus focused on sport, free screenings and awareness: part of the Metaltronica Team will take part to help spread a culture of accessible health and prevention.
In 2026, Rome once again prepares to become the focal point of one of the most meaningful and widely attended solidarity initiatives worldwide. From May 7 to 10, the Circus Maximus will host the Race for the Cure, the largest event in the world dedicated to the fight against breast cancer, organised by Komen Italia and now in its 27th edition in the capital.
Within this context of strong social value, Metaltronica is proud to announce its support and participation in the event, reinforcing a commitment that extends beyond company activity to embrace the core themes of prevention, health and corporate social responsibility.
The Race for the Cure is not only a race, but a collective project that brings together institutions, the scientific community, companies and citizens. At the heart of the event are the Women in Pink—women who are facing or have faced breast cancer and who, through their participation, convey a powerful message of resilience, awareness and hope, helping to raise public awareness of the importance of early diagnosis.
Over the four days, the Circus Maximus will be transformed into a true Health Village, an open and inclusive space where visitors can access free screenings, specialist medical consultations and preventive healthcare services, with particular attention given to more vulnerable groups. Alongside medical services, the program includes initiatives focused on psychophysical wellbeing, healthy nutrition and physical activity, promoting a conscious and healthy lifestyle.
The initiative will culminate on Sunday, May 10, with the traditional Race: a 2 km walk, 5 km and 10 km non-competitive runs, and a 10 km competitive race, designed to involve athletes, families, companies and citizens united by the shared goal of supporting prevention and research.
The participation of the Metaltronica Team represents a tangible expression of the company’s values. By taking part in the event, Metaltronica aims to contribute to the spread of a culture of prevention based on information, equal access to care and solidarity—key elements for both individual and collective wellbeing.
Supporting the Race for the Cure means investing in the future and helping to build a more aware, inclusive society that places people’s health at its center.
