Metaltronica at 26th edition of the Race for the Cure 2025
Early detection as the first line of defense
From May 8 to 11, 2025, Rome hosted the 26th edition of the Race for the Cure, the world’s largest event dedicated to the fight against breast cancer, organized by Susan G. Komen Italia. The event, held at the Circus Maximus under the High Patronage of the President of the Republic, welcomed institutions, citizens, and companies committed to raising awareness and promoting women’s health.
Metaltronica took an active part in the initiative, sharing the goal of raising public awareness about the importance of early breast cancer detection.
The event featured a variety of activities, including the traditional 2 km walk, a 5 km run open to everyone, and a 10 km race reserved for competitive athletes.
The Health Village offered free activities focused on sports, fitness, healthy eating, psychological well-being, entertainment, exhibitions, and conferences on topics related to primary and secondary prevention.
This initiative, which had already provided over 4,500 free medical services last year, offered a wide range of healthcare services over the course of four days, thanks to more than 200 booths at the Health Village and the support of 7 Mobile Units from the Prevention Caravan. Free instrumental and clinical exams were made available for the early detection of breast cancer and other common conditions among women, including gynecological, thyroid, skin, oral cavity, and rectal-anal cancers, as well as liver and cardiovascular diseases. Additionally, specialized sight, hearing, and audiological exams were offered, along with consultations on nutrition, menopause, bone health, and aging.

Metaltronica is proud to have contributed to this important cause, promoting a message that is especially close to our hearts:
early detection as the first line of defense against breast cancer.
Thanks to Susan G. Komen Italia for organizing this extraordinary event, as well as all those who took part in supporting the fight against breast cancer.
Together, we can make a difference.
