Since then, remarkable scientific and medical opportunities – including “artistic” ones – for diagnosis have emerged.

In honor of the anniversary the European Society of Radiology (ESR), the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), and the American College of Radiology (ACR) have created the joint initiative named International the Day of Radiology. It aims to raise public awareness on the importance of the field and on the fundamental role that radiology professionals play in the healthcare system
