Fighting Breast Cancer: Together for Prevention
Race for the Cure 2024.
Sunday May 12, 2024, on a day with a summer flavour, the streets of Rome turn pink. There are 150 thousand participants at the 25th edition of the Race for the Cure, the annual marathon organized by Komen Italia to promote breast cancer prevention and fight.
Also this year, the Metaltronica team attended the event with enthusiasm and determination: despite the progress made in breast cancer research, the numbers of cases are still too high; about 56,000 women suffer from breast cancer in Italy every year and facing these data it is really difficult to remain firm.
Metaltronica joins this annual event with solidarity to contribute, in its small way, to raising new funds for the Susan Komen Italia association, in support of the many women who are facing a difficult path of care and, at the same time, to encourage breast cancer prevention activities.
